I was recently burgled.
Not an ideal start to the week.
The Discovery
The thieves didn’t take the television.
They didn’t take the computer.
They didn’t even bother with the good silverware.
They took my life jacket, defibrillator, and portable oxygen tank.
An oddly specific crime.
The Investigation
Authorities are currently searching for a suspect who apparently values emergency preparedness above traditional resale value.
No arrests have been made.
More importantly, none of my stuff has been found.
Feathered Thought
Some people keep their savings in a bank.
Apparently, I kept mine next to the emergency equipment.
Final Note
It was my entire life savings.
